Will Gas Prices Affect Your Next Car Purchase?
The USA use to be a country full of SUV vehicles, big cars and trucks. Today we see ourselves moving towards an auto nation that looks more european than ever. We buy smaller more efficient vehicles.
The reason is obvious. It is because of high gas prices that we moved away from purchasing bigger vehicles. Even when prices slope down for a brief moment we still opt for those smaller vehicles. Wise, we know the evil oil companies will see to it the prices go up.
So the purpose of this article is to delve into the future of car purchases. I’m one who has decided that my next car purchase is going to be an electric based vehicle. The Volt can be powered by electricity for the first 30-35 miles. More vehicles like this will assuredly hit the market.
Currently I drive a small sedan 5 speed vehicle that gets good mileage. I know though that prices are going to go higher and to keep up we need to drive more efficient vehicles. That’s why I know I will not be driving a pure fossil fuel vehicle for long.
I know I also have to find advantages to purchasing gas. So I take advantage of free gas websites. They allow me to fill up the car for free. Any savings I can find are important in this economy and assuredly the one in the future.
